Only one new image for Project 10x. School and work got in the way of learning.

Yes, that Sergio Leone film, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, was motivation for the Super Shot image.

I'm planning "The Good, The Bad, and The Furry", switching Eastwood's face for Elias'.

Anyway, is anyone else as excited for SKETCH-A-DAY-IN-MAY as I am?

Beginnings of a t-rex

Yep. So I used a lot of ref, and I still got the snout wrong. Screw it, I'll fix it later...maybe.
The dots in the back are actually from the brush tutorial when we made scales. The arrangement reminded me of the shape of a T-rex, so I threw some tracing paper over it and gave it a whirl.

i'm alive... barely... need a mental break

Random sketches. I've posted some of these on another blog account that I should probably add onto here.

Quick question, anyone know why when I hold down the ALT button in PS to select the eyedropper tool as I'm using the paintbrush, it changes the secondary color (eraser color) instead of the main one I'm using? It was fine last time I used it, but I don't know what random settings changed.

I started this when I got home, but....I'm falling asleep so I'll end it here for now and continue tommorow maybe...

for those of you new to sketch-a-day in May, we do just that. Everyone has one sketch for each day in that month and posts it on the blog. If you miss a day, you can make up for it later at any time before June starts. So if we have 30 contributors contributing a sketch a day, we should have roughly 900 in total by the end of them month! oooh imagine that?

mmm....tasty challenge

this should be interesting, as always, meet theme and deadline.

Just a little something I started working on among other things...

Everytime I make a brush stroke in photoshop a small hour glass pops up afterwards for like a split second. The result is a flickering brush cursor that is really really annoying. Anyone know how to fix this? I found no helpful articles online.

facial sketch #2

I guess this is an improvement from the previous one. Criteria is still the same as the last one. 15 min limit, no erasing or reference. I think my handicap is concentrating too much on accuracy last night that my character look stiff. Tonight I felt a bit looser and relaxed when doing this sketch. =)

I'm almost lazy to scan and upload all the stuff I haven't scanned and uploaded.

1. After the Steve Brodner lecture (My younger brother on the compy, grinding away).
2. During PetSmart meeting and in the VAB Compy Lab.

Swamprat Marsh preview

Landscape painting I'm still working on. This is an image from Swamprat marsh, particularly a village settled around a temple built long before Anubite and human times.
