Great values on the body! Really nuanced transitions going on here. I want to say the same for the skull, but since its color isn't relative to everything else it just pops out like painted cardboard.
As for the emphasis on the skull, it is the point, though I should probably touch it up a bit. I felt it was too hidden in the attempt before this, so I wanted to lift it away from everything else since there are some things going on all over it.
