fanartorama, part 1: selfish fancharacter spam

I did this picture almost 2 years ago already! Don't yell at me for the cast shadow, you're not allowed.

Also Get READY!!! ITS ALMOST THAT TIME!!!

Sketch a day in May is coming up I hope I have everyone's support for this. Lets rally the troops and get all the people who haven't posted in a while to get back in the game. Poke someone and urge them to draw. For their health!

Speaking of Fan Art

I saw some of Brittani Bounds Sketches and asked her can I draw my rendition of her character. So here is a little fan art from me. And I guess I can do a Caution since I'm warming my pencil up.

My First Fanart.

Okay, my little brother drew it. But, it's still cool. Zapata, James said he wanted to do Caution Fanart, and Greaves, Ray kind of did it, too, in his card project (Which I still have to finish).

Maybe we can make that some kind of contest here on Area 221? Fanart of someone's character for each day of the week? Contact me, if you want to help organize the new daily challenges once I'm done with undergrad.

BFA Cover

I can't imagine that I won't draw a new cover for whenever this series will be released.

I have good experiences whenever I do draw another cover or pin-up of Caution. It motivates me, I suppose.

"Tales of Caution" - Monday, May 2, 2011 @4.30p-7.30p in NJCU GSUB Gallery. (Second day of A221's Sketch-a-Day-in-May, I know. Honestly, I'm just as excited for SADIM as I am for my show.)

Pin-up WIP

Thought I'd finally show this off a bit. I'm having a lot of fun with it. I keep rhyming and just can't quit. Maybe this will go on forever. Damn.

Battletoad!

One of my favorite games growing up. Took a break from a larger painting to get this idea onto "paper."

Don't eat me, Mr. President!

"James, will you fetch me the First Lady?"

"Um... Mr. President, you ate her last night in a drunken rage... sir."

"Right. Phooey."

"Indeed, sir."

Goliath sample - update

So, I came back to this sketch I made of Goliath and was playing around with the lighting until I finally decided on what direction to take it. I don't want to reveal everything, just yet (mostly because there isn't much more than just his body) so I'll give you a sample for now. Enjoy!

Yawn

I can't wait til I can sleep again.

Well, you know what I mean.

Here's a sketch for a panel on page five.

As well as a sketch for another costume.

Fart.

VOTE OR DIE, MOTHER****ER

Hey everyone!

Go show some support for my Zelda tribute (Click here) by voting for it over at CGHub.com! (Click here)

The polls are open until the 18th of April, so you have plenty of time... but the sooner the better!

If you really enjoyed this image let your friends and family (especially your grandma) know about the contest and tell them to go vote! You'll have to make an account to vote but that's nothing to complain about! There is so much amazing art being posted on that site everyday. Every art lover should be visiting it as much as they can!

This is one of the biggest challenges I have seen over at the Hub and the first in which I've ever participated, so it's very exciting. Also, who doesn't love Zelda?!

Anyway, thanks again and keep watching my blog (Click here) for more updates!

PS.: One of the mods HAS to make links more visible!

April Warning

I think, we all need to get Elias' off his ___. I don't know if he's been working on his BFA or not, but it's better to be safe than sorry in his situation.
