A Blood drake concept and a crappy lil doodle i did while talking to someone in MSN.
Theres a few things I'm still thiking of doing for the drake such as exposing the bones of the ribcage and making the wing span much bigger.

Once in awhile I do tutorials for friends.
This was the result of one of the tutorials I was doing, which was doing a digital painting from a sketch in photoshop.Basically a friend of mine wanted to know how I work
in photoshop so he came over asked me if I could show him how I work and since I had some free time I showed him how and shortly after went bowling a game or two.

I figured I'd put the process with the image as well since i had each stage saved as a separate image already incase anyone is interested.

I really wasn't aiming for accuracy in anatomy, but surprisingly it came pretty close. Maybe I'll tweak it later.

Mama sketches

I don't think I ever shared with you my meat eating, force of nature nightmare, Big Fat Mama Sock. I gave some teenager nightmares when I drew the initial character years ago. Liz Baillie is doing super cheap commissions and I'm going to try and get her to draw Mama and Lez-Bot. I drew these because I'm shamed of the old art ca. 2000-2001 (isn't it nice to see that Ben Jones can make a profoundly severe difference in your art style?).

This is a new commission I'm working on . I'm also trying out a painting program called SAI while doing this, so far its pretty good and i do like the live canvas rotation, but I just don't feel that limitless customization. Maybe it's because I'm still learning the program but thats how i feel about it so far.
