low bridge, everybody down
art slumps are horrible because they never really go away.
not intended to coincide with halloween. the bugs that made themselves comfortable in the apartment during the summer have extended their welcome into fall... is it just me or do these creatures get bigger and faster for each one you kill? i believe they have meetings inside the walls, plotting their next attack.
done in illustrator.

Laundry blurb.
Sketchie sketchie
Seems like sketching in the middle of class seems to be the new trend in school. Anyways, a lot of people were talking smack about the new Movie Starscream design, playa-hatin' and dissin' mah' main man which I don't dig. Anyways, some kid (Nate) inspired to get into it and draw some justice to it.
Will finish and ink it later! Schomke some herbs ya'll.
Jason's first...
The Cosmic Samaritan #2 is being re-inked. As much as Damani thinks rendering chrome is the bane of his existence, I feel inking is mine. Still trying to get the gist of it, but I think I'm getting there. Here's a example of the change in style:

little by little
CHROME
i would like to say that rendering chrome is one of the hardest things in the illustrating world. i would also like to say even though jason is my boy, i think he made the samaritan chrome in order to punish for something i did to him in another life. i would say this is almost like giving birth to an eighty pound baby with a turtle shell on its back! ok, i'm done ranting. back to work!

WIP: Lord of the adsfkjlhasy!
Yea....I'm late.
BUT i feel like I should finish it. I'm just laying colors. No real light source sort of...BAH.

yet another pose
jason wasn't crazy about the legs, so i cut 'em off! the pose is a little different. i'm tryin out the suggestions i've been given. kells, butters, jump in whenever you feel like it! i love it when women tell me what to do! XD
thanks jess and ironfox! the previous post, arms to the side, no legs showing, is definitely the one i like most! i appreciate your suggestions!
manga style
rendering through photoshop is really difficult for me so i rendered the hair the way i would with a pencil or pen.... been a while since i drew something i liked... well the drawing itself is kind of simple but she's still a hottie XD
Lord Jasper
My cat Jasper is the lord of everything, especially animals...or my dog...or me. So, I decided who to better depict in the Lord of the Animals then my cat. I used a combo of graphite and pen. I really like how Jasper came out. I really wanted to work on some of my shadowing and lights and darks. I would go back and fix the lion shadow at some point probably...that part was sorta rushed. Critiques on what to fix/work on would be great. Oh, and for some reason it would only upload small, I think its because I only have a digital camera to scan it with...so the quality isn't great.
little commision
Little thing I'm doing for a client, so far I hink its coming along nicely, took me awile to get the hat done right. >.<

anutha pose
this is another pic based on the feedback i got from butters! tell me what you think, girl! and thanks for the suggestions!

This Weeks Theme
It kinda sucks that we only got two entries in
the last contest Place your votes people. This weeks contest we'd like more entries.
We will also do a little more promotion to see if we can get more contestants.

Yay. I got in.
Swell. This is going to be fun. Really. Never was really part of a club. I think.
Just stuff from Cartooning & Comics ...for now.
This one was for the figure in movement assignment. There's s'posed to be a silhouette somewhere, if I can find it. I swear I just finished it.
Yes, it's ninjas vs zombies.
(C'mon everyone loves zombies and ninjas.)
This is for the gravity assignment.
(I probably should've scanned the part that came before this.)
The hood of the car looks like a blanket...
Pssh.
(I need to know the Creative Cartooning hw, too.)
Seacrest out.

"Sorrow is what I hate but it's grown my sensations
Regrets taught me how to make any hard decisions
Peace is always by my side but I've never felt it once
Love is not the word only for the sweet romance
I let myself down that I'm more cruel than I thought I would be
I'm just a loser who ends up by caring for my soul
I don't give my heart to no one cause I don't wanna waste my time
I tried to love this loneliness to slip out of this lonesome hole
gahh..i feel like crap now, was gonna do the contest but this is what i felt like drawing... anyway can someone find out the creative cartooning homework since i'll be gone til sunday
