Looks a bit too mechanical, you need some soft edges and gradual transitions in the face if you're going for a more organics look.

I was wondering what made it look odd (apart from it's inaccurate skull structure).

If you keep it the way it is, you can pass it off as a T-Rex made of Legos.

If you want to keep it ridiculous.
I like the fact it looks mechanical. A giant toy.
